VoiceThread is a very user friendly audio/visual sharing site that can help you reach your students both in and out of the classroom! You can share photos related to any topic you’re covering, and then let your class leave comments for discussion (either by typing or as an audio clip) at their own pace. Great potential for flipping the classroom here. Check it out!

Here’s a great site for using podcasts with ELLs. Podcasts are portable (you can stream them from any computer with an internet connection, or download them and take them to go on an mp3 player or phone) and they provide students with opportunities to listen to real English speakers in a communicative context. Great practice for our ELL students!
